An Incredible End to an Incredible Campaign!

It's been a while since we've used this image, but this seems like a good time to pull it out of the vault:
Last night I made sure to grab a quick screen cap when our pledge numbers crossed that $35,000 number--and of course I had to make sure Quin and Dakkan had the proper expressions to match!
All of us on the Western Deep team were on the collective edge of our seats as the numbers shot up in the last 12 hours. We all had hoped that we might hit the ultimate stretch goal, but it was a STRETCH GOAL for a reason! You all well and truly blew us away, and now not only can we bring you the definitive version of Western Deep Volume Two, but we can reprint the definitive version of Volume One to ensure as many people who want it can get it!
It's been a long campaign, but after 37 days we reached 199.9% funding and cleared every goal, every milestone--all thanks to you!
Now comes the least fun part of any Kickstarter campaign: the WAITING. Funds will be deposited, orders will be placed, manufacturing and shipping will happen over the course of the next many months, and of course this COVID-19 pandemic has slowed a lot of things down in that regard.
But you can count on regular updates from us to keep you all in the loop on what's going on throughout this process.
At the moment, we're working on locking in our fulfillment and shipping partner, and I'll try and get an update out to everyone in the coming weeks on how that's going!

I was about to turn in for the night, then I realized we were SCARILY CLOSE to hitting our ultimate stretch goal! Lo and behold, less than an hour ago, our pledge total ticked up past $35,000!

I'll send out another update tomorrow once the campaign's officially complete, but remember that if you want in on all our crazy cool stretch goal rewards like the stickers, bonus prints, and iron-on patches, you'll want to get your pledge in before the clock ticks down to zero!
Nearly 12 Hours Left, Volumes 1+2 Hardcover Bundle RESTOCK!

We're nearly down to the final 12 hours, so we've decided to go ahead and just say "to heck with it!" People want more Volume 1 + Volume 2 combo bundles? We hear you loud and clear: we'll open them up!
That's right, we've gone and increased the available number of 1+2 combo bundles to a gobstopping 250! These contain hardcovers of Western Deep Volume 1 and 2, in addition to all the standard bundle rewards and our stretch goal rewards (iron-on patches, the emote sticker sheets, the bonus PDF, extra prints, Nolan Markey's orchestral main theme as performed by an actual symphony, AND the included Kenosh pin).
I just tried saying all that out loud just now and needed to take a crazy long gasp of air afterwards. It's a LOT of stuff!
Thank you all for helping us make this Kickstarter such a huge success--we literally could not do this without you! :)
The Final 48 Hours!

Actually we're down to around 45 hours now, but who's counting? (Me, actually--every second of every minute X)
With fewer than two days on the clock, I wanted to take this opportunity to both THANK EVERYONE for their incredible support and for helping us make this second Western Deep Kickstarter even BIGGER than the one that came before. Our hope is that every subsequent Western Deep campaign we do is even more successful than the last, and right now we're 2-for-2 thanks to YOU!
Looking at our project dashboard, I can see we still only have about a 21% conversion on followers-to-backers, so if you've been waiting to see how things end up, this is a pretty incredible spot to jump in!

As of my writing this, we're a hair under $100 away from the $32,000 stretch goal, which has every physical backer receiving a FULL SET of iron-on patches and a second sheet of Western Deep character emote stickers.
I know it's a long shot, but if we can hit that $35,000 stretch goal before the campaign ends in 45 hours, we'll be able to print a brand new run of Volume One hardcovers and offer them to backers in our post-campaign BackerKit store at a full 50% OFF.
Regardless of where we land, we couldn't be more excited to see what happens--because either way, you've all got a ton of cool stuff coming down the pipe once this campaign is over!
The Final Week!

It's crazy to believe, but we're officially in the FINAL WEEK of this campaign!
As we begin to move into the final days, I wanted to take a moment to thank every single one of you who have backed and followed this project. We had absolutely no idea what to expect when we pushed the "START CAMPAIGN" button a month ago, but thanks to you, we accomplished our goal in a fraction of the time it took for Volume One two years ago. Not only that, but we have more backers, and more new readers than ever before.
As I've said before, the Western Deep team couldn't be happier to see so many new readers picking up the story.
Of course, if you've been following along and haven't backed a pledge tier yet, we're coming down to the wire! And of course if the craziness of our current global situation has made it difficult or impossible to back a tier you'd want, or you had to cancel your pledge, there will be an opportunity once the campaign is over where non-backers can order books and other pieces of merchandise through our BackerKit store (which I still need to set up--I should get on that)! Of course if you backed a pledge tier but wanted to add extras of certain items, that would be the place to go as well.
And if we do manage to hit that $35,000 stretch goal in the next six days, all backers and non-backers alike would see a brand new run of Beyond the Western Deep: Volume One hardcovers available for pre-order in there as well (at a discounted price of course). We hope we can hit it--after all, these campaigns do tend to have a bit of an uptick in the final run.
